Choosing a software company in Egypt and the Gulf

Picking a software partner in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, or the wider Gulf is mostly about filtering out the teams that are good at selling and weak at shipping. The polish of a pitch tells you almost nothing. Here is what does.

Ask to see shipped work, not slides

Anyone can show a deck. Ask for links to live apps, App Store and Play Store listings, and real clients you can talk to. A team that ships has a trail of it. A team that does not will steer you back to the presentation.

Watch how they scope

A serious partner asks hard questions about your users and pushes back on scope before quoting. A weak one says yes to everything and quotes fast. The first conversation is a preview of the whole engagement. If they are not thinking critically now, they will not later.

Check who actually does the work

  • Is the person in the sales call the person who will build it, or a layer you will never speak to again.
  • Do they own the full stack, or will your project bounce between subcontractors.
  • Can they support the app after launch, or does the relationship end at delivery.

Local presence still matters

A team that understands the market, the payment rails, and the language ships software that fits how people here actually use it. That context is hard to buy from a vendor three time zones away who has never shipped in the region.

We are an Upwork Top Rated Plus studio based in Cairo, building for clients across Egypt, the Gulf, and beyond. If you are choosing a partner, tell us what you are building and we will show you the shipped work behind the pitch.
